Wednesday, October 5th, 2016When designing a conservatory it is important to utilise the space that you have. One of the best ways to do this is with an Edwardian Conservatory. If you look at the footprint or plan view of an Edwardian conservatory it is always a flat fronted conservatory that is usually square or rectangular in shape. Its roof has a centred ridge with a large triangular panel on the front.

Wednesday, September 24th, 2008At www.diyconservatoryquotes.co.uk we keep being asked if we can cater for full height conservatory walls well the answer is yes. Its quite an easy thing to do for us the usual height for a wall is around 27 courses and all we do is design your conservatory window frames 30mm higher than the wall to allow for the thickness of the cill. This means that the ring beam runs straight round the top of the wall and out onto the top of the frames. As long as you have made the wall turn around the right size for you or your builder everything will be fine. If you are unsure about any of this just ask one of our technical guys or better still give us your measurements and we will make it work for you.
